Paramount Studios
One the entrance gates for Paramount Studios, located 5555 Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, 1936. On the left, a large set is under construction and other studio buildings are vivible in the center of the image. What is now known as Paramount Studios actually began in 1916 when Adolph Zukor merged his Famous Players Film Company with Lasky Films to form Famous Players-Lasky.
