At 7 a.m. on May 15, 1935, the first train left Sokolniki station. The ticket cost 50 kopecks and was valid for 35 minutes.
The metro lobby is designed in the form of an arch with two-way access and is located on an alley that runs from Rusakovskaya Street to Sokolnichesky Park.
