A family of nine
A family of nine from near Fort Smith, Arkansas, travels between Yuma and Phoenix, Arizona, hoping to find work in the California harvests. Fourteen similar cars were seen on the road that afternoon. Photograph by Dorothea Lange, Farm Security Administration, 1937.
