Dunster Mill
Dunster Mill Somerset. The village boasted two mills in 1886, according to the Domesday Book - so more than likely a Saxon mill. The Lower Mill occupied the site of the current structure.
By the 17th century, Dunster had both malt and oats mills; however, one was converted to a fulling mill by 1721. The present mill, constructed around 1780, replaced these earlier two. A bakery was added in 1940. After grinding corn until World War II, the mill produced animal feed until its closure in 1962.
