Mikayel Melik-Ohanjanyan - birth number unknown - died in 1936
From the Melik-Ohanjanyan family of Syunik.

Armenian military figure, lieutenant colonel of the Russian Army and the Armed Forces of the First Republic of Armenia.
(Brother of prominent Armenian philologist, Armenian scholar, orientalist and translator Karapet Melik-Ohanjanyan)
Garegin Nzhdehs ally and friend in Nagorno-Armenia, and after the Soviet Union of Armenia, he switched to peaceful work.
In 1936, he was arrested as a white Guardsman. Twice he received a double affidavit stating that he was in one of the prisons in Russia. Later it turned out that he had been shot. Karapet Melik-Ohanjanyan was also a victim of Stalins repression, but years later he was able to return to Armenia from a Siberian exile.
