Before the revolution, the street was named after the governor of Yerevan Nazarov. St. Hripsime Womens Gymnasium is the oldest womens educational institution in the city. On the right was seen St. The church of Gregory the Illuminator, on the site of which a school was built.
Womens Gymnasium - on the left side of the second building, built in 1881 by architect von der Nonne.
