Tomb of the Unknown Hero. A monument at the grave of an unknown Red Army soldier who sacrificed his own life to cut a cable leading to explosives. The explosives were planted by Nazis planning to blow up the Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station during their retreat. Ukrainian SSR, Zaporizhzhia, 1944.
