The Oseberg Ship,

1905

The Oseberg Ship, an 8th-century Viking relic. This well-preserved ship was discovered in a large burial mound at the Oseberg farm near Tønsberg, Vestfold County, Norway, and was excavated by Norwegian archaeologist Haakon Shetelig and Swedish archaeologist Gabriel Gustafson in 1904–1905.
