1867

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, England. It consists of a ring of standing stones, each around 13 feet high, seven feet wide, and weighing approximately 25 tons. Constructed in several stages, beginning about 5,000 years ago, its final form was achieved around 1600 BCE. Stonehenge is thought to have been a burial ground and a site of significant ceremonial importance. The exact purpose of Stonehenge remains a subject of debate, but it is widely believed to be connected to ancient astronomical and religious practices.
