Mercedes 300 SL Wing Door

1955

The Mercedes 300 SL Wing Door sports car was first introduced at the 1955 New York International Auto Show. The audience was delighted with it. The 300 SL had gull-wing doors that were borrowed from the 1952 race car of the same name (W194). Friedrich Geigers design became the face of the SL sports production cars from Mercedes-Benz.
