"The Rogue Song" (sometimes known in Spanish as "La canción del rebelde" or "Amor de gyngaro"), starring Lawrence Tibbett, Stan Laurel, and Oliver Hardy.

This Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production was filmed entirely in the United States, specifically at:

MGM Studios: Located in Culver City, California. Most of the scenes, including the elaborate sets recreating the Caucasus Mountains, were filmed on the studio's interior soundstages.

Exteriors: Although the plot is set in 1910s Russia (in the Caucasus), the mountainous landscapes were filmed on location in California to simulate the environment.

Directors: It was directed by Lionel Barrymore, while Hal Roach was specifically in charge of directing the comedic sequences with Laurel and Hardy.

Technology: It was MGM's first feature film with all-talking sound and was shot in two-color Technicolor. Current status: Sadly, it is considered a partially lost film; only some video fragments and the complete soundtrack survive.
