Aram Khachatryan in Yerevan

In December 1973, Aram Khachatryan arrived in Yerevan to participate in ceremonies dedicated to his 70th anniversary. The world-famous composer and cellist Mstislav Rostropovich received the lucky winner T.T. Vazgen I, the All-Armenian Patriarch. In honor and as an expression of his exceptionally loving attitude, the Most Armenian Patriarch invited Aram Khachatryan to visit one of the historical thrones of Veharan.
