Students of the Armenian School of Bucharest, 5th (or 6th) grade, 1931-1932
In the 1940s, there were approximately 40,000 Armenians living in Romania. Under communist rule, Armenians began to leave the country, and under the regime of Nicolae Chausescu, Armenian schools were closed. Misakyan-Kesimyan National School also operated from 1847-1965.
