Construction of the Berlin Wall

Its East Berliners fleeing to the West through a hole in the fence. Two days ago, on August 13, 1961, the construction of the Berlin Wall began.
The total length of the wall at the end of construction was 155 meters and the height was 3.6 meters. The wall stood until 1989.
