Hovhannes Tumanyans letter to Avetik Isahakyan

🔸 “... I do not want and cannot write long and thin about our country, although you ask. In short, we destroyed our country both from the outside and from the inside. Mainly we. We say, and in this is the truth. Part disrupters, part thieves and ruins wretches, some of them diabolical misfortunes, and there was not a crowd, at least a group, to discover the spirit of rebirth and moral capacity. In so many disasters and defeats no one was found guilty, no one was called to account, nor answered. And it goes on: now the same people in the same ways... And not one was not at least INNOCENT enough to prove that there is at least shame and remorse in these people. But what am I say—they couldnt at least grieve or appear upset.”
