Girl and crocodiles

New York Zoo, 1956. A five-year-old girl fell into the crocodiles terrarium, clutching the fence wire with her blouse while her parents took pictures. At that moment, there were few people near the crocodiles and what happened was almost ignored. The girl took a few steps towards the reptiles, but it was extremely hot outside and the crocodiles were probably full - they just watched and didnt react.
A young man in a US Air Force uniform jumped into the terrarium and pulled the child out in a few seconds.
The little girl who fell to the crocodiles was future actress Nancy Allen, who would star in the Robocop trilogy many years later. And the Air Force radar station mechanic George Carlin, who saved the girl, will become a stand-up comedian, writer and actor.
