The school in the village of Msho Norshen, founded by the Mkhitaryan Congregation, 1852-1913 (operated for 61 years).

The village of Norshen is located between two branches of the Meghraget River (about 87 km), one of the largest villages in the Msho field.
According to the census of the Patriarchate of Polso, at the beginning of the 20th century, the village had 400-500 houses with 3500-4000 Armenian inhabitants. Norshen consisted of 7 districts.
The village was largely destroyed during the Great Genocide of 1915.
In the village of Katolikeh Norshen there was the Church of the Holy Assumption. The pilgrimage site, which, according to tradition, is 800 years old.
