A migrant family
A migrant family pauses in an open field between Dallas and Austin, Texas in 1936. Beneath it, the father works on repairs to keep the vehicle running. Having left South Texas behind, they head toward the Arkansas Delta in search of cotton field work, their journey sustained by endurance and hope.
