National Normal Musical Institute

1872

This one came from the Chicago History Museum and was taken August 1872 at the National Normal Musical Institute, University of Chicago. Everyone is set up to be looking off to the side, but Fred Root decides to do his own thing, look straight at the camera with just a hint of a smile. Left to right:

F W Root, Cornelia Walker, P P Bliss, C A Havens, Carl Zerrahn, George F Root, Robert Goldbeck, James Gill(?), Henry Harding(?)
