The Debut of Paul McCartney with The Quarrymen

1957

On a typical day, Friday, October 18, 1957, Paul McCartney made his debut with John Lennons band The Quarrymen. At New Clubmoor Hall in Liverpools Norris Green district, young Paul played Arthur Smiths popular instrumental Guitar Boogie with the band on solo guitar, followed by several more covers of popular songs.
Thus, that evening, the worlds most famous duo of musicians and composers, Lennon, McCartney, was born.
