Double-decker Trolleybus near VSHV

1940

A double-decker trolleybus near the main entrance of the VSHV, 1940.

For some time, double-decker trolleybuses even ran in Moscow. However, they did not take root in the capital; it was difficult to drive in winter on icy streets, and passengers over 1.75 in height were very crowded. Especially on the second floor, where you still had to squeeze in.
