Schoolgirls
Schoolgirls at Baldock County Council School in England learn to wash clothes by hand in a Domestic Science class, 1944. They use plastic bowls of water on the table, with one girl using a washboard. In the background, another group receives cookery instruction, while at the sink to the left a girl washes up a saucepan she has just used.
