Yuri Andropov, Secretary of the Komsomol Committee

In 1930, Yuri Andropov, who would later become a prominent Soviet leader, was actively involved in the Komsomol (the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League). During this time, he served as the Secretary of the Komsomol Committee at the Rybinsk Water Transport Technical School. This role marked the beginning of his political career, as he was responsible for organizing and leading youth activities aligned with Communist Party principles.
