A group of four srimpi, another category of court-dancers, performing a scene from the Putri Cina story in the Kraton. Each character is played by two dancers. The character at left is the Chinese princess Dewi Adaninggar who tries to kill her rival in love, princess Kelaswara. This picture is plate VIII of Isaäc Groneman's In den Kedaton te Jogjåkartå. (G.
