🟣 The Monastery of the Holy Virgin of the Red Riding Hood was located on a small plateau on the slope of the Varagi and Equestrian Mountains. Distance from Varavank is one km. It was finally destroyed in 1915 during the Armenian Genocide. The remains of the monastery chapel, from which the photo was taken, remained from the ruins. Now the former village is the Kurdish farm of Yukaribakrachli.
