Reburial of Stalin's Corpse
                                    On Tuesday, October 31, 1961, Stalins corpse was removed from the mausoleum late at night, and his body was reburied near the Kremlin Wall.
The decision to remove the leaders body was taken the day before, October 30, at the close of the XXII Congress of the Communist Party.
Already in the morning, the information was published in the Pravda newspaper, and the reburial was carried out
in record time — in just 24 hours.
