Phalanx was a German art association that existed from 1901 to 1904 in Munich. The Phalanx Association was founded in 1901 by the artist Vasily Vasilyevich Kandinsky. Phalanx had its own small art school (Münchner Malschule Phalanx), where Kandinsky personally taught.
