This significant World War II summit brought together the leaders of China, the United States, and Great Britain to discuss strategy against Japan and to plan for postwar Asia. A major outcome was the Cairo Declaration, which demanded Japan's unconditional surrender and the return of territories like Taiwan and Manchuria to China.
